My abdomen is still semi numb after 3 months! It's that weird numb feeling, like when novicane is wearing off. Anyone else have this issue for this long?

When the skin is cut microscopic skin nerves are cut. This is unavoidable. Some women's numbness improves over time, but some women also have numbness forever and that is normal as well. If the numbness is not gone by a year, I would say that it is likely to staythat way.
I am nearly 4years post c-section (though both my DD's were both c/s) and am still numb. That being said I am also 18years post appendectomy and that is numb as well.

Yeah, my son will be four next month, and I still have a small numb spot by my incision. There was a larger numb area for at least 2+ years, but it's slowly been shrinking.
I'm 3 1/2 months too and still numb. The incision is always numb and at certain times, like with my period when I'm bloated, the numbness around it is more prominent. I don't expect it to ever go away so if it doesn't I won't be disappointed.
I'm 2 1/2 years PP with DD and 7 months PP with DS and since having DD I've had a big numb spot. I doubt it will go away completely. It's not as big of a spot as it originally was, but it's still a lot. Doesn't bother me though.
I was still numb a year after...my doc is a woman and she said she's had 4 c-sections and she's totally numb still (last one was 3 years ago). It's nothing to worry about...it just may never come back!
Re: Still numb
DS2 - Oct 2010 (my VBAC baby!)
Almost 8 months PP and I'm still pretty numb.
I've had alot of success with massaging my scar. It's made my scar less noticable and it's helped alot of the feeling come back!
