Questions about preschools in SF

Hi everyone,

My husband and I just moved to San Fran. A lady at our Pedi office mentioned that I needed to start looking at preschools now (my dd is 1). We've been here 2 weeks and I can barely find where to buy groceries, so finding a preschool for my 1 year old feels very overwhelming. Does anyone have a good starting point to this process? A list of schools (besides google maps), a reviews site, or even a blog?

Any info would be very much appreciated.

Yelp actually has a lot of preschool reviews, as well as savvysource.com, and also greatschools.com, you can search by your zip code. I would guess there is also some mom's club in your area,
