Life is getting better (somewhat NBR)

So we have had a hard time this past year.  Medical bills, loss of job from my husband from a 20$ hr job to a 9$ hr job, first year of marriage I was pregnant then the stress of our LO (normal baby stress).  December was hard, lack of money and lots of arguments.  But....

In the past three weeks life has changed so much.  My H decided to go back to school.  I made arangements and he is now accepted to an online program for Fire Science (he is a fireman).  He had his first job interview last week and was offered the job (we declined it though, wasn't worth it) and he was just offered another job interview with one of the best companies around.  Both of our paychecks have gone up with insurance changes and a raise on his end.  Almost 500$.  He is happy, I am happy - and we were intimate three times this week!!!! (None in months)  Hopefully things stay going good!!!!!

O and our LO took her first steps last night.  So much fun!!!!

    So glad things are looking up for you guys! Enjoy it. We're currently waiting to hear on a job for H that will make a huge impact so I can understand how happy you must be.

     

    And congrats on first steps. Before you know it, she'll be running. Big Smile

    Life has a funny way of working itself out that is for sure!  So happy you guys are getting back to being happy!  And too cool about your little one taking steps!  What a week for a turnaround for your family! Congrats!

    I am sorry you had such a bad year but it sounds like 2012 is your year. I get discouraged sometimes that DH or I will never get better jobs so it is great to hear a positive story to encourage me.
