    That was great. I just read it to DH out loud on the way home from work. It's actually good advice too because we're guilty of doing quite a few of those things.

    omg. Being a parent to a human sounds almost as exciting as being a parent to a dog! Or maybe just my dog. Who thinks she's human ... 

    Specifically:
    Accept that your children (i.e. dog) are going to do annoying ***.
    Never chase a kid (i.e. dog).
    IT'S A TRAP! THEY LIKE BEING CHASED! 
    Never repeat yourself.  

    We're totally ready for this, lol.
