Nipple Stimulation

Hi!!  Trying to get things moving here and wanted to try some nipple stimulation since it's on the list.  Last night I busted out the breast pump.  I don't mind letting DH try, I just figured the pump would be more efficient.  I only did it for a minute because I started to leak a lot of colostrum!  Baby needs that stuff so I stopped right away.  Have any of you ladies used the pump?  Are you leaking too and just still doing it?  Just wondering if it's weird for me to be able to pump already..maybe that's good and she will be coming on her own soon?? Just wondering!

    I pulled mine out last night for the first time and found I was also leaking colostrum when I used it, so I think for now I will stick with manual stimulation, since that doesn't make me leak like the breast pump did. Smile

    We will see today at the doc if I am making any progress...

    From what I've read, our bodies are able to make more colostrum, so there's no harm in pumping it or "losing" it during nipple stimulation.  I've definately been leaking all over my bed clothes and the bed during the night, yet it keeps coming back.  My body can't wait to start feeding baby apparently.
