Just wondering when you had your third child? What is the age gap?

I am worried that if there is a number 3 in our future that the twins will be in cahootz and #3 will feel left out some how like S and L will be clickish and he/she will feel like a third wheel .

geez, baby on the brain ... ugg perhaps its cuz the girls are 6 mo now and I will be 3 in a few days eeeeeeek

I can't speak from a mom's perspective but as one of three children myself (all 2 years apart), I can say that in our family, it was always 2 against 1. Over the years the person who was the third wheel changed, but it was always someone. As an adult I am much closer to one sister, with whom I have a lot in common, than the other, even though both live close by. It's possible that this might be more pronounced when 2 of them are twins, but I don't know that you can avoid it altogether no matter what.

My friend just had a 3rd baby 3.5 years after having twins, but it's too early to see what the dynamic is.

Birthdays can be hard! I am feeling a little apprehensive about my 34th in the spring -- probably because I am still TTC and wondering how successful I will be in relation to my age -- and also worrying about how quickly I would be able to have a 2nd, blah blah blah.
