I've read in several places that it is good for colic....pedi says that it sounds like Laci has colic and I'm willing to try it. Have you ever given your DC chamomile?
How did you do it? Mix with formula or just straight tea at room temp or a little warm?
Re: chamomile for baby?
That's interesting. I noticed that there is chamomile in Hylands Teething Tablets when I bought some this weekend. I wonder if its in their colic tablets as well. I'll hav to check the bottle when I get home. We thankfully never had to use them so I didn't look too close. Maybe that would be a solution though.

It does contain chamomile.
Yes! I give DS a chamomile based liquid for teething pain and it does help calm him down when he is super fussy. They have a specific colic product, too. I got it at WF but can't remember the name right now so Google isn't helpful. I will look at the product when I get home and find a link for you. It is pink and blue and looks similar to the Hylands box.
I also read an article about a chamomile tea (super weak) for babies for fussy and teething pain relief. I couldn't find the specific article, but Google has a lot of chamomile tea recipes for babies.
I'm sorry about the colic, hopefully this will help you and baby.
ETA - We give DS an anise an fennel "tea" for his tummy. I take 1/2 tsp of anise, pound seeds with mortar and pestle (sp?), add 1/4 C water and heat for 30 sec. I let it cool then strain. When it cools I give it to him in a medicine dropper. We've been doing this since as needed since he was about 3 weeks old. When you find a chamomile "tea" recipe for babies, I would go with this method of giving it, it's super easy and now DS doesn't freak out when we come at him with a dropper of medicine b/c he's used to it.
Here is the camilia stuff I was talking about.

We use the teething liquid they make and it's great.
