"Sometimes DH amazes me! He never gets jealous and I love it! I've dated guys in the past that couldn't handle the fact that I have guy friends. I'm also still friends with some of my exs. I told DH last night that I was going out for drinks with our finance guy (we went to college together) and he said "that cool, have fun". I asked him if he minded keeping DS home with him and of course he didn't mind at all. Sometimes I just feel so lucky to have a mature relationship!! Loving my DH right now!"
I stole this from 12-24 months. But this is pretty much my DH as well. I have a few best guy friends and it's never bothered him when or how I hang out with them. I don't ever get suspicious or jealous either though.

Re: Does your DH get jealous?
We both do sometimes. We completly trust eachother and know nothing would happen, but we get jealous when we aren't getting the amount of attention we would like. It doesn't matter if I am spending all of my time with a girl, guy, or farm animal - he will get jealous if I am not spending enough time with him.
If I had to have only female friends, I would have like, 3 friends.
No, my H doesn't get jealous.
So are you saying if you, in a moment of weakness, kissed one of those guy friends they wouldn't kiss you back??
This!
I have all dude friends. My best friend is a male. We have been besties since I was a freshman and he was a sophomore in HS. We are very close he knows everything about me as well as I know everything about him.
I've always been closer to men so yeah Women can be friends with men and vice versa.
From when we got married until a few weeks before DD was born, I was going back and forth to Montreal and living with my guy friend while there. (Once it was for a month at a time, other times it was a week or just a few days.) I was actually staying with him the month I got KU. I went back to NY thinking we had missed the window. We all sometimes joke that she's my friend's kid. So yeah, DH is not jealous.
Basically you're saying that in your experience every guy you've met has wanted more than friendship from you or vice versa and that makes you too uncomfortable to be just friends with them. I guess I get that.
My friend said he wanted more once while we were in highschool. I said I just wanted to be friends and he must have learned to deal with that because we're still friends. Even knowing that he wanted more didn't make me view him as anything more than a friend. We were open and honest with each other and agreed on what our relationship would ultimately be. We're still close. He was in my wedding, and is friends with my H now.
I get your point of view but to say it's not possible for guys and girls to be close friends is just not true.
Giggity!
And totally true. Shiit happens when you get drunk sometimes, dude...
I have guys friends... and the thought of kissing them makes my stomach turn! EW. It'd be like kissing your brother. H has female friends, and although he may joke around with them, I know for a fact he has zero sexual interest in them. As in, if he got smashedoffhisass and so did one of his female friends, the most that would happen is naughty jokes and a whole bunch of drunken, mumbo-jumbo giggling.
