I have one tough little boy!

Last night Charlie jumped down the 2 stairs we have in our kitchen to our side door and fell & cracked his head on the edge of the ceramic tile stair

It was pretty bloody & he cried for a few minutes, but then seemed fine and it looked like a scratch about 2" long. I looked at it about 15 minutes later & the whole thing had opened up so off to immediate care we went! He ended up needing 3 staples and he was such a trooper. He didn't cry or complain at all, he didn't even flinch! I brought along his Leappad so we just played on that while they fixed him up. He was so excited to go to school today to show his teacher & his friends his staples, such a boy!!

Oh my gosh, how scary for you guys! That is definitely one tough kid! I'm sure his teachers and friends will love seeing his staples, lol!

Oh my goodness! What a brave little thing he was! I am glad he is ok, it is hard to tell at first with the head because everything there seems to bleed so much, so it was good you were able to check again and see better.

ugh... I think you are one tough mama too for dealing with that! Poor Charlie. I am glad he was such a trooper about it.. how is he such a big tough boy already?

Well I just picked him up from school because he said he had a headache & was teary eyed. Of course he is his regular silly self now (and refusing to take any motrin) but I am a-ok having a snuggle day!
