Hi, I've been researching and reading many message boards about ttc, especially after 35 and finally decided to join one! I'm 38 and have remarried last September. DH and I have been wanting a child for some time and started "trying" when we married. I had one son in 91' and a mc in 2007 which they had to remove one of my Fallopian tubes. So here I am. I just started reading Taking Charge of Your Fertility and realized "I Knew Nothing!!!!!!!!!" I just started charting my cm but have to wait until my next cycle to start taking temp. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. :-)
Re: I Knew Nothing!
Welcome and good luck!
My suggestion is to go to a Reproductive Endocrinologist after 6 months of TTC. Hopefully you won't make it to 6 months but just in case. I also suggest asking a lot of questions here and reading a lot of posts. The more educated you are the better off you'll be. I'm very involved in decisions regarding my treatment and love the fact that I feel like I have something to add. My RE also seems to appreciate that I have knowledge to back it up. I've learned so much from the ladies here and on TTTC.
After more than 2 years of fertility treatments, FET did the trick!
IVF March 2012 - BFP! - Severe OHSS = 8 days in the hospital in kidney failure
No heartbeat at 10w6d
FET August 27,2012 = BFP!
It's a boy!
