keeping the spark in TTC

We already have 2 boys ages 3 and  18 months. We are trying for our 3rd and sometimes it just seems so mechanical and.....well.......not fun. I know that sounds really bad but how do you get the spark back into TTC? I just want us to enjoy this time instead of it being so "Well lets just have sex so that we can get pregnant".

    We just actually enjoy ourselves--both of us stay into the whole process and we don't skip any foreplay. Sometimes I will hop in the shower with DH in the AM before DS gets up and we'll get started there and finish things later that night. It gives you something to look forward to during the day.

    I"m also looking for some input in this area...but what we do is trying to find little nooks of time (DS's naptime for example) when we can have some fun. I also try not to talk about it to him a lot so he doesn't get all weirded out.

    While my husband and I are both on the TTC train, I try to refrain from talking about it as much as possible. He doesn't really like to talk about it because it makes things feel less sexy and spontaneous. I don't tell him when I'm Oing or anything and I just try to get after him whenever I can. I try a little harder during the fertile window, but try to keep up with it when we're not in the fertile window so in his mind, he's just getting laid a lot.

    We've also found that using lingerie, or trying to have sex in different places keeps things fresh.

    I was going to say this exactly! I don't mention anything about Oing and I try to be spontaneous and try at different times of the day/different areas in the house. I'm sure he knows why I am wanting to more often, but he likes the "spur of the moment" times.

    I definitely need to work on finding the spark over here.  We were having a grand ol' time the first few weeks, but now I'm to the point where I'm just frustrated with this cycle and feel like having sex is just another thing on my to-do list.  It's terrible.  Good luck spicing it up!  :)
