and its unfailing ability to let me get work done.
My mom is having a medical procedure today, and I told my dad to take her and that DS and I would fend for ourselves. I said that thinking that "all" I had to do today was finish a purchase agreement - long hours, but I could pull a late night and get it done while DS was napping/sleeping.
Of *course* today, of all days, I wake up at 5 to half a dozen frantic emails from my least organized partner. It's going to be a hell of a day. In the meantime, M is enjoying a free for all in the playroom while I huddle here in the corner making sure he doesn't tip over in the Cozy Coupe while I deal with this ridonculous fire drill.
That is all.
Re: G-d bless this playroom...
playroom rocks!
Ella might have played in the basement while I read upstairs for about 45 minutes the other day. It was kinda heavenly. ...
A few times it got really quiet so I went down to check on her and she was pretending her babies were asleep and got all mad at me for waking them up. LOL
K, that's classic. Love it.
He's having a blast. At the moment gleefully pouncing on his trampoline with his eyes glued to Tangled. At least one of us is having a great day!

You and me both. The doctor said it's "nothing to be concerned about" and I'm choosing to run with that. Lots of Ts&Ps today.

It's all about the trains for us too! Thankfully we have 3 different sets to entertain him.
I'm so jealous of playrooms. We don't have enough rooms in our house, although half of our basement is a designated play area.
Hope your day is flying by and your getting some work done.
I definitely have to say I love the age when they can play quietly.
