I noticed in an earlier post you mentioned that you're going to Haiti. How come? My sister lived there for 2 years so I have a special place in my heart for that place
hey!! my family sponsors an orphan in haiti and we are going to meet her!! we are going with the group that we sponsor her through to work at the orphanage, build a house and just love on her and the other kids. dh and i are going for a week.
congrats on your twins! my sister has twin girls with a set of identical twins on the way! they are the best!!
That is SO awesome!! I know you will be very moved by what you see there. I was never able to visit my sister--pregnant and then caring for a baby while she lived there, but both of my parents went and were really impacted. The stories she tells about the people there are just incredible. I felt very personally impacted by the devastation of the earthquake there and so grateful that she had moved away about a month prior.
Thanks! We're excited and nervous! I think I read your post about your sister over the holidays and my jaw fell to the ground. That is incredible and what a blessing! At least she knows what to expect!!
