Today is one of those days when I question how I'm going to handle 2 kids...
Took DD to the mall to try and get my phone fixed. Of course the first appt they had was 2hours after we got there and she already wanted out of the stroller. We did some shopping and walking-well, DD pees in her stroller. Take her to the bathroom, get her changed and now she cant get back in b/c its soaked with pee. So now I'm pushing the stroller and trying to keep her near me. Get my phone fixed (hopefully) and head home. Stop at the bathroom and she doesnt have to go. Meltdown #1 while walking to my car b/c she didnt get a toy. Then, she pees in her carseat on the way home. Meltdown #2 when we get home b/c she doesnt want a diaper on for nap (she always wears one). Before I get her changed, she pees on her bed. As soon as she told me, I burst into tears. This kid never pees 3 times in a morning let alone has 3 accidents on MAJOR stuff I have to clean up. So right now shes up there on a bare mattress for her nap b/c I had to strip her entire bed.
I want to go back to bed and start today over again.
Re: One of those days...
that sounds like a nightmare! Hope she (and you) have a better afternoon!
gosh, as much as I've been trying to get Evan excited about big boy underwear and potty training (he wants NOTHING to do with it!)... I'm kinda glad he's still in diapers! So much easier than worrying about accidents I guess!
Aww, I'm so sorry. I saw on fb she got the rug too? You are in a tough spot bc I can't imagine cleaning all that up right now with a newborn. How is she acting when you talk about her being a big sister? Does she seem real excited? Talking about being a big girl and big sister really excites dd so if thats the case maybe you can go with it, maybe go back to treats for pees in the potty and all that. Otherwise, I would probably just go back to diapers for the time being and try again in a month or so. I just cant imagine dealing with big accidents right now on top of everything else. Good luck either way!
