I lied in my post yesterday.....I spent 7.5 hours getting sick last night. It was horrible and I wasn't able to keep a dang thing down, not even liquids. How the heck would I know if it was a bug or m/s? FWIW I did the exact same thing for 1 night when I was about this far along with R.
Not sure how I feel right now.....I HATE this!
TTC since 6/2003. m/c 9/14/03 8 weeks, 5 chemical pregnancies, mmc 6/04 12 weeks, Michael born sleeping 5/25/05 at 22weeks always our angel, fought ovarian cancer and won, m/c 4/06 5.2 weeks and 7/07 6.6 weeks,Our Miracle baby girl born 4/8/10,mc 12/18/11 at 5.3 weeks, BFP 10/26/12 dating u/s on 11/8/12 showing a strong heartbeat!EDD July 4,2013. RCS on 6/27. Baby boy in NICU for 8 long and scary days before he was able to come home. We are now a happy family of 4

My ILs asked if it would be OK to take Stella to see Sesame Street Live at the end of the month. We said sure and then DH & I talked about going, too since this would be Stella's first time going to something like this. MIL already bought the tickets w/o knowing that we wanted to go, too. I understand that it's something they want to do with her, but I wanted to be there to see her face for the first time. She apologized to me this morning and it's really not her fault b/c we hadn't told her that we wanted to go, but I'm just really disappointed. I guess we could buy tickets, too but who knows if we would be able to get them all together now and I'd feel bad imposing on their outing. =(
Just that Evan is still sick. He's fine if he has Motrin in him, but as soon as it starts to wear off his fever spikes and he's so miserable. He was up at 4am screaming and wouldn't go back to sleep. 20 mins after I gave him medicine he was running around the living room playing w/ his toys. Now he's zonked out on the couch.
I hope he feels better soon... we have a fun playdate planned for Friday, but it's looking like we might have to cancel. Plus he's supposed to sleep at my parents house this weekend.
I am so itchy. I think this is going to be my whine until I have the baby.
Charlie has to miss his last hockey game on Saturday because of his staples. Obviously I am so glad he's ok & will recover fine, but I haven't told him yet because I know he is going to be crushed. Thankfully his next league starts up again in another 2 weeks or so.

Alex had an ear infection over the weekend, so we've been having some sleepless nights and I've been exhausted. Last night he actually slept all the way through the night...but Mike came into bed with me around 1am because he had a really bad dream...and he tossed, turned and moaned the rest of the night.

I feel cruddy
DD had strep last week. I came down with sore throat 3 days ago (no cold), I'm tired, low grade fever, ear pain, I feel like there's a ball in my throat? (my tonsils are extremely swollen DR said this morning).
My rapid test for strep came back negative, and she made me give blood for mono?!? Ugh. I'm also on a steroid for 9 days (double ugh) for the swelling in my throat so I don't feel like I'm gonna die.
/end whine. I'm really glad my daughter finally feels better, though!

I don't feel like I have mono, according to what everyone tells me? I'm not tired and fatigued, which everyone is telling me they were. I'm still leaning towards strep, since daughter had it just last week.. she was ALL up in my face. Hopefully it's that and not mono.
I hate feeling jealous. I am so jealous of people who have 2 incomes or who can find a new job in a week or who can buy things I want or go back to the resort we went to in September. My 2 bf's are going back on vacation in 2 months.
i just had 4 days off and it doesn't feel long enough. I am so sick of working. As much as I don't want to be a sahm I wouldn't mind the option
Today was just a long, rough day, after a great, easy day yesterday.
I didn't sleep well, woke up with a splitting headache, didn't get up early to go to gym before DH went to work, Mom came to watch the kids so I could go to a work meeting (so grateful, but she is so not helpful, except for watching them...which is a guess the point). The one medication I am on, is not covered under our new insurance, without a lot of doctor calling, etc... I came home, had to cook and feed Evan lunch, way after he usually eats and then he would not settle down for a nap until 2:30, when he usually goes down between 2-4...Andrew got shots...screamed for an hour straight tonight (after I gave him Tylenol)....I want a hot fudge sundae, but i got rid of all of the ice cream for our no junk food challenge....and DH just texted me that his workout at work was hard tonight...ugh...I would do anything to be able to go exercise right now to work off some steam....oh well, at least boys are in bed, and Modern Family is on tonight
This sounds like my DH, he says he can't sleep either even though he lays in bed the entire time and can't even tell me the correct amount of time LO was up! When he would do that, I would flip out on him! And he totally deserved it. But then he would turn around and do all the house work for me which made it difficult to complain anymore.
Me too. When I realize the difference that the salary I could be making could make in our lives, it's insane. 40,000-50,000 extra a year when we've been skrimping by on one salary? Freaking insane!
