Babies Sweet Beginnings (in Lancaster) has childbirth and breastfeeding classes... along w/ parenting type classes, mommy & me, yoga etc. I took the breastfeeding class, and thought it was great. Polly, the owner, is really nice.
I took the childbirth class that was offered through the hospital I delivered (Suburban)

This. My OB required that I take the hospital childbirth class. They seemed to cover everything I needed to know about childbirth, and the class was paid for by my health insurance.
Thanks! I Just clicked on the Babies Sweet Beginnings site, looks great! No prices though, do you by any chance remember what these classes cost around? Also, when do I actually start looking into signing up? I'm 6 weeks.
I'm taking mine at Millard Fillmore Suburban as well. My OB recommended taking them around 28-32 weeks. If you look on their site it tells you upcoming schedules to give you a idea. I signed up around 22 weeks?

I have a friend that teaches childbirth classes with a slight emphasis on natural birth (also covers breastfeeding, basic newborn care, etc.)
I think she'll have a class starting in a month or so. Let me know if you are interested & I can pass along her info
