2nd Trimester

update on trans-siberian orchestra...

they were AMAZING.  if you get the opportunity to go, you should.

the light/pyrotechnics alone are worth it!  we bought tickets in the super cheap seats, which were still decent seats.

the only downfall?  our seats were SUPER high up, meaning about a thousand stairs, and way steep.  so it took me about ten minutes to get up and down and once I sat down I was winded like I just ran a marathon!

Either way, fantastic show!  See them if they come to your area.  I'm going to put up my tree once I get off work- you'll definitely be in the holiday spirit!  Have a great day!

  • My seats were like that last year and I'm afraid of heights. It was really great though. I think it was one of the best concerts I've ever been to in my life.
  • They are fantastic, I saw them on the 14th here in Tampa.  I have been going for the last 10 years, and every year it gets a little bit more fantastic.

  • wow i would absolutely love to go see that.... i feel ya on the stairs though, i went to a hockey game with DH lastt weekend, and i usually go sit in my seat and then run down to the front to watch warm ups (flirtie time with the players haha) i cant remember a game i went to when i didnt do that.  well we were in the nosebleeds and once i got up to my seat there was no turning back....i felt like one of those 500 pound people who are winded after 3 steps haha
  • exactly! I can take my dogs on a 3 mile walk but I can barely walk up a flight of stairs these days... ugh.

  • I so want to see them very badly have for years and have never gotten the chance yet.
  • I'm going to see them for the first time on the Sunday before Christmas!  I can't wait!
  • I saw them last year, but we ended up leaving. They were very preachy/scripture-ridden (talking about angels coming down) and all I wanted was some pretty music. I hope they've left that part out this year and concentrated on what they do best!
