Oh, that was the winter break during my senior high school year. I was living in a high school dorm at that time and probably went back home for the break. So a lots of coffee and cigarettes in coffee shops during the day, and discotheque, beer and a lots of dancing during the nights. Used to be a party rat.

It was my Senior Year at Hofstra and I probably was in my dorm room watching TV or with my roomie (if it was a week night). If it was a weekend, I might have been with my small group of friends. I wasn't a crazy partyer but I had my moments. Unless it was a layout weekend (worked on two school publications) and then I would have been in the student center.

In the hospital with a kidney stone. I had to drop out of college for that quarter due to my HMO taking more than a month to decide what to do about my kidney stone. Erg, I will never forget that month!

I had graduated HS in June 1991. Jan 1992 I was 18 and working the job I worked all through HS: a cashier in a pharmacy. I had no ambition to do much more since the hours were pretty sweet - 5 to 9 PM M-F, 9 to 5 Sat. I spent WAY too much time watching Nick at Nite. Felt a little lonely because all of my friends went off & away to college.

Let's see (blows the dust off the brain).... I was about to turn 21. I'd just bought a brand new Jeep Wrangler and a 104 yr old house. by myself. I'd been at my job for 4 years at that time. (wow- writing that I sound very responsible to my 40yr old self) I'm sure I had a boyfriend that I wasn't serious about because I can't recall anyone specific at that time. I dreamed of going to college and finally started when I was 24. Strangely I'm back in the same town now that I was then....

I was 22, a fresh immigrant in Israel (from Russia), married to my 1st H with a 2 y.o. DD, sharing a small 2 bdr apartment with my then Parents IL, getting ready to start college all over again in Tel-Aviv Univ (didn't finish college in Russia), not speaking any Hebrew or English yet, working as a cleaning lady, and missing my own family that was still in Russia at the time. My wildest dream was to eventually come to the US and find A JOB here. OMG.

18.. married for 2 years and living in Florida with my family, (husband, parents and brother) I'm thinking I wasn't working and just being a lazy half assed house wife. (don't mean to offend anyone but that's probably the most boring job I've ever had)

I do miss goin to the drive in's and fishing off the piers all night long.. that life was so boring to the 18 year old though.. looking back I'd like to trade places with her for a few days just for a break from the drama that is today.
