My hubby's pretty tall...

Okay, so I haven't been able to find any info on the internet..and I haven't asked my doctor yet.. but

My husband is 6'4''

I am 4'7''

I heard from a friend that our height difference could cause some potential pregnancy problems..

Has anyone ever heard this?

I don't really see why that would cause any problems. Even if you get pregnant with a long baby, your ute will stretch to compensate.

I think it would have less to do with his current height and more to do with the size he was when he was born. That being said I work with a girl that just knew she would have all kinds of problems with her pregnancy and would end up on bed rest because she is so small (she is 4'11"). She worried and talked about this for months after she got pregnant. Guess what she had an uncomplicated healthy pregnancy. If you are concerned, talk with your doctor.

. And your doctors will monitor the size of the baby. My husband was 12lbs when he was born and that so isn't happening to me! Besides, look at how many NBA players have kids with their petite wives.

That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard.

OP - I'm 4'11, weighed 117lbs the day I gave birth - to a healthy 8lb 1 oz, 21 inch long baby...vaginally.

DH is 6ft tall.

You'll be fine. It has nothing to do with how big you are, or how big he is that'll have bearing on whether you'll have problems during pregnancy. Some taller and larger women have trouble delivering 6lb babies...
