Vegan recipe sites?

Does anyone know of any great vegan recipe sites?? DH and I are doing a cleanse and I'm especially looking for recipies that don't use tofu and other meat substitutes... just fruits, veggies, and whole grains.

 Thanks a lot!

Re: Vegan recipe sites?

  • I love Vegan Dad, but he has a mix of things on there--baking with wheat, using meat substitutes, and whole foods cooking. I bet if you poke around the blog for a while you will find a couple recipes you like.

  • I've gotten a lot of recipes and ideas from vegweb.com, there are TONS on there.  I also like ohsheglows.com and thekindlife.com.  Recipes are posted on the kind life a lot but there is also a forum section where people are always posting good recipes.

  • I second vegweb.com. I also really like vegetariantimes.com. It's not all vegan, but the recipes are great and the vegetarian ones can be adapted. Another good site is www.vegetarian.about.com. For books, I've heard Veganomicon is great but I've never looked at it.
