Infertility after IUD?

I'm scheduled to have my Mi re na removed Thursday with a new OB. After visiting with a friend regarding her horrendous experiences with infertility since hers (PG while on it, ruptured tube, multiple ectopics and m/cs since that time), I'm now scared to death that we won't be able to conceive. Talk me down.

We got PG with DD on the 2nd cycle. I had been charting for 7 month prior to that. We were anticipating starting TTC #2 this summer. 

Have any of you had a lot of trouble TTC after your IUD? I'm freaked!

    It took us three cycles to conceive after I had my Mirena removed. 

    ETA: We avoided for two cycles before we started TTC.

    My mother got pregnant with my brother 2 weeks after her IUD came out. It sounds like your friend had a lot of other issues on it. I'm sure you'll be good.

    i got my period the day after i got it out. i ovulated 14 days later. 2 weeks later, i got a positive pregnancy test and now i have my beautiful beatrice :)

    We avoided for a few months after removal and conceived the first month of trying.  No issues at all and I plan to get another after Butterbean is born.

    My friend had her IUD removed this fall.  They started officially trying in Dec and got PG after the first try.

    BFP 12.20.2010 :: missed m/c 1/2011 around 8 weeks
    BFP @ 9dpo 5.24.2011 :: missed m/c 6/2011 around 7 weeks
    positive for ANAs (1:40) with a speckled pattern
    MTHFR c677t mutation (heterozygous)
    *folic acid, baby asprin, Prometrium, acupuncture, Lovenox*
    BFP @ 9dpo 2.1.2012 || HCG = 8 : Progesterone = 19.2
    2nd HCG @ 11dpo = 40 || 3rd HCG @ 21dpo = over 5000!

    We are not having any more babies, but I know (via sono because of other issues) that I ovulated about 14 days after I had my IUD taken out!
