Doctor thinks I should schedule a visit.

in TTC After a Loss

I told my doctor about my cycles and my recent charting and he asked me to come in for a visit. Didn't say why. Didn't explain anything. Just said I should come in for a visit. 

Should I be concerned about that?

    I'm concerned that you ask us this question and not your doctor. 

    I mean, "why?" is a very, very simple question.  It's the first question most of us learn when we're learning to speak.

    Not sure what you want us to tell you.

    I agree with Rizza.

    He probably just wants to take a look at your charts and go over with you what you are doing that he likes/what you could be doing more of or differently. If there were cause for concern I'm sure that he would have indicated that it was urgent.

    Then it's probably just a consult.  I wouldn't worry.

    So, exactly what I said, basically. He just wants to go over your charts and everything in person, and give you some guidance. If I were you, I'd be over the moon. I have to break someone's arm just to get an appointment with my OB. Be happy that you can even get an appointment!

    It's very possible he just wants to go over your charts and make sure you know you have his support and guidance.  If you haven't been in for a while he's probably just looking to make sure everything is fine.

    Yes, this too. Just in case my previous post came across as snarky (snark def not intended). I think he just wants to review info with you, talk about stuff, and get to bill for a visit instead of doing it for free over the phone.

    He's got bills to pay lady, he can't be handin' out free consultations! lol  I'm sure this is 99% of it.
