I am cautiously joining all of you in hopes of a long stay. I am a mom but have had miscarriages and as much as I wanted a third, I was beginning to accept it was not meant to be. My most recent m/c was at 9 weeks in October. I called my doctor today and she is mailing me scripts for betas. She offered for me to pick them up and go today but I am trying to be patient. Hopefully I get some great results later this week. So, here is to all of our babies sticking and being healthy and thanks for letting me join in.
Re: Can I carefully dip my toes in this pool?
My Ovulation Chart early m/c 09/05, early m/c 02/08,and missed m/c 04/12 at 16 weeks **I was Diagnosed with Factor V Leiden & Heterozygous Mthfr 02/08 I was put on Lovenox while pregnant with my daughter and will also be for my next pregnancy
Congrats! Try to stay positive. I had two losses before DS so I know how hard that is, but you deserve to enjoy your pregnancy.
You didn't ask for advice, but I'll give it anyway. I did the betas in my 2nd and 3rd (DS's) pregnancy, and the just made me even more nervous. I decided to skip them when I got pregnant with DD. The waiting for answers, the obsessing over numbers .... and all that for something that in the end, didn't mean much. I just felt much better waiting for an 8w u/s and then being able to really celebrate great news. JMO! Best of luck.
