DSs school was closed today so SIL is watching him and she just sent me the cutest pictures of him -- he looks sooo happy. My husband said that he squeeled with excitement when they pulled up to her house this morning and he ran in yelling "my cousins!". I'm just so happy he's having a good day.
Other than that, the good news is that I officially put in my notice at work last week and my boss took it super well... and now I'm counting down the days until I am done!
Since I had an insane work schedule last week and had to work Saturday and only just got home yesterday afternoon I got a comp day today. And it's been SO needed. Got to sleep in (also much needed), had lunch and went for a hike with DH, now am chillin and checking work email from my couch. Will probably go see a movie later or maybe catch up on Downton Abbey (new obsession).

This is more like Good News Weekend but I am still just over the moon that I am pregnant! Every time I talk to my mom and grandma I have to bite my tongue because I want to tell them but not going to yet!

On Saturday DD and I won a free semester of Music Forever Music Together! We went to a sample class a few weeks ago and she loved it, but I couldn't justify the $$$, so this worked out great
my good news is i bought new curtains for my living room during my lunch and i just put them up and i think i like them. i've been searching for new curtains since october so it would be awesome if this could be done. i'm just hoping DH doesn't totally hate them when he gets home. he doesn't have to love them, nor really like them. just not hate them.
As strange as this sounds, the dr called and my hcg levels are finally back down to 0 after the miscarriage and my chromosomal test came back clear! Yeah, that means we can start trying again in March!!!
Another strange, but good news is that my mom's cancer is in a new place, but only 1 small location and all the other spots in her body are still the same size or smaller so no major treatment necessary for now! This is really good news for her and my family.
I've been babysitting my niece today b/c SIL had to go back home to Taiwan b/c her mom is about to pass and my brother had meetings all day. I thought it would suck, but it's been good. She's opening up to me--she's usually really shy. And L has been pretty good. He's trying to share, he hasn't thrown a bunch of tantrums, and he took a nap--albeit shorter than I wanted, but a nap none-the-less. And, to top it off, the dishwasher got emptied, and dirty dishes put in it, all the diapers are washed, L's clothes are washed and dried (still need folding), and I vacuumed/swiftered the kitchen. It's been a good day.
Now only if I could grade that last class of paintings...

My good news is that schools are closed today so no work for me. I'm spending it getting caught up on shows - watched Grey's Anatomy, currently watching Private Practice, and Pan Am and The Good Wife are up next.
I took back a christmas gift from DH's grandmother today-- she bought me a shirt that was about 4 sizes too small glad she thinks I'm that thin but seriously. The good news is she spent an obscene about of money on it and I now have lots of fun money to buy clothes that do fit!!

My good news is that we officially start homeschooling tomorrow and I am so.flipping.excited!
I know this probably doesn't apply to you with the other 2 kids, but the best part about homeschooling? No pickup lines, no drop off lines, no rushing the kids out the door in the morning, no dragging little sister out of bed. Green tea and honey in my hand, on the front room couch, while we start school and little sister drags herself out of bed on her own time.

Omg. Carpool was the bane of my existence. I'm getting like 10 hours of my life back now!!! DH will do drop offs for the boys and I now only have to pick up teagan 2x a week but no carpool. I feel so FRRRRREEEEEEE.

I'm not as hormonal and moody as I was this morning. That's something, right?
Also, Central Market had their lemon bars buy 2 get 2 free. So now I've got four delicious treats in my fridge that no one but me likes. Hooray!
