Does anyone use the Period Tracker for the iPhone/Android phone? After our taxes come back we are paying off our furniture then going to get a second car and athose are the two things left to do before we start trying so I'm wondering how accurate this thing is. My SIL uses hers to not get pregnant lol and we want to use ours to get pregnant.
Re: Period Tracker
9 IUIs = 9 BFNs

FET #1: 1 blast = BFP; Missed m/c discovered at 9w5d; D&E
Karyotyping: normal ~ RPL Testing: normal ~ Hysteroscopy: normal
FET #2: 1 blast transferred 10/25; BFP 10/31!
EDD 7/13/14 ~ Induced at 37w4d due to pre-eclampsia ~ Born on 6/28/14

So I looked at it last night and it has a place for temperatures and CM and all sorts of other things so what do ya think?
Amd it shows that she has a 28 day cycle and ovulated on the 14-15th day of her cycle.
I use the Period Tracker for Android just for my information. It will eventually update your cycle and predicted ovulation days based on your cycle length once you have entered a few cycles. I tend to have shorter cycles, so I know that it's adjusting based on the dates I've entered as to when it predicts my next period will be.
As others have said though, ovulation may not fall when PT says it will since everyone's body is different and I'd be tempted to use some of the other fertility items suggested. You can use PT to track those other symptoms and have it all captured in one place, it just may not do *everything* you need it to eventually do.:)
This. If you're using an RE to conceive and he/she uses monitoring/triggering to know when you're ovulating, it might not matter how good your tracking software is (and you might not have to chart at all). If you are doing at-home insems or unmonitored/unmedicated IUIs, you will have a lot riding on your ability to predict the day you're going to ovulate. Personally, I would go with something that is specifically designed for that purpose, like Fertility Friend or the Taking Care of Your Fertility software/website.

Well J hurts when she's ovulating and usually on the day she's hurting it's the day PT says she's Ovulating. We plan on also using OPKs. We plan on doing three unmediated cycles first so I'm trying to get everything in a row.
Alysia- that's what hers tracks as well. She even adds when we have sex...not that that matters for us lol she just does it so she can complain when we don't have sex for a week or two
lol
