One of my hounds seems to be acting strangely lately and I am not sure if I'm imagining things or if it's possible that my being pregnant is upsetting him somehow. Is this happening to anyone else or am I just losing my mind?

This is exactly how our dog has been. She's super annoying lately because when I sit on the floor to play with DS, she gets right between us almost like she's trying to protect me from DS. It's weird. I have to shove her out of the room because it's just too much. She's so strong and doesn't get that I'm alright.

Yikes! I'm sorry. My MIL's dog cannot keep her face out of my crotch when ever I go visit and it is ridiculously embarrassing! I can't imagine if one of my own decided to start doing that.

Seriously though, my dog hasn't picked up on anything yet. I do have a lot of friends though who have pets that acted really strange. It's incredible how animals pick things up!

My male cat and dog are the same as always.

My female cat, however, has turned into a stage 5 clinger. I woke up in the middle of the night last night to her "combing" my hair on my pillow with her claws and licking my cheek.

Our boxer has been super clingy as well. Even when I'm doing dishes she has to be sitting with her body up against my legs. Its so cute, but she is getting to be a heavy pup!

Both our dogs have been very intrested in me.
My black lab is a love bug but since last monday shes been a PEST! My husband lost his office mate to layoffs so I told him to take her to work with him LOL

Yeah my dog is the same way. I had yesterday off and all she wanted to do was lay in front of me on the couch so I would spoon her. Normally she likes her space.

My cat has crawled into my lap to snuggle and nap almost ever day in the past week. He normally is content to sleep on his blanket on the end of the couch and ignore us. I think he knows something is up.

My older dog, who is not known to show much affection, has been VERY affectionate only towards me the last few days. Either he knows, or is just acting weird!

Yes, yes and yes!!! My male dog loves to lay on my belly now and is EXTREMELY overprotective of me. He cornered one of my guy friends growling and barking. Then my female dog continuously barks at me for no reason. I feed her, I water her and I take her out. She still barks! It's driving my hormonal self crazy.

Yep, my little corgi has been very clingy the past couple weeks, but he barely even said good morning to me today, so I'm hoping that doesn't mean somehing bad is about to happen.

My cat has been extremely clingy and more talkative. If I'm on the couch, he wants to be on my lap or chest.

my dog hasn't been very clingy so far with this pregnancy, but when I was pregnant the first time she went crazy! She is usually a pretty calm dog but she started running around in excitement and following me more than usual. She would even sort of whine at me even though she never really barks.

with this pregnancy, so far she hasn't changed her behavior much.

When I was 8dpo, I noticed my one female cat (the most crotchety of the bunch) was being VERY lovey with me. Climbing all over me, pushing herself in my face, sleeping on me ALL night, etc. I tested positive at 9dpo and she's still super lovey! My other animals are VERY, VERY affectionate so the change was noticeable in Polly more than anyone else.

I have one cat who is normally a total clinger who has had way less interest in me recently. She prefers MH now! Maybe she knows she needs to start buttering him up because my priorities are about to change! My other cat is still as completely unreliable as usual.

My dog will just sit right next to me and start barking at ME. She will finally calm down once I start petting her but it is still annoying.

I'd always heard that animals know you're pregnant before you. My cat got super cling about 5 days before I tested so I 'joked' that Roosevelt knew that I was pregnant. He really did! He is still very clingy.

Starting the night before I tested, our male cat (who usually is content to hang out with MH or by himself) has been glued to me. After I tested and told MH about the BFP, he said he almost told me to go take a test the first night Jack wouldn't leave me alone. If it really means anything, I don't know- but we did notice the change.

During my 2-week-wait, my dog started whimpering and woofing at me. I know it sounds crazy but it's one of the things that made me wonder if I was pregnant!
