My acupuncturist has been home on maternity leave but she has been checking in with me from time to time--which is very nice. 
Last night she asked to see my chart so I emailed her last cycle and my current one. She still thinks I have a problem in the 1st part of my cycle so she wants me to contact her at the end of it to start some herb tea next cycle. Now I feel like I will have no chance at all this month. My 40th b-day is one month from today and all I wanted was a BFP..guess I better ask for some chocolate..I am going to need it I think.

Come on llama...you know that's crazy. You haven't even o'd yet. Maybe you should be FWP sooner rather than later, just to be sure you don't miss "go time". Think positive. I'm sending my good vibes your way. BTW we have matching cycles this month. Here's hoping my doc gives me the go ahead this aft and we can get our BFP together!

As much as I am an advocate for acupuncture based on my own experience, I hate to see you getting so down just because your acupuncturist said something negative. That's great the she has some idea for what she wants to do with you on your next cycle, but I'm still going to hope you don't HAVE a next cycle because you get your bfp this time! ((Hugs))

It's just the fear of disappointment that is getting me down today...
If my acupuncturist is right, my eggs aren't maturing fast enough in the 1st part of my cycle, so all the perfectly timed Bd'g in the world won't make any difference... and the "planner" part of me is tired. Tired of looking ahead to EDD's, tired of chart obsessing, tired of bd'g even when I don't want to because a little
on a OPK tells me to..
Don't mind me--just venting..

Llama - think positive thoughts! We need to follow in Adi's footsteps over to the PG>35 board! Just maybe we got toyed with (tormented is more like it) and had miserable AFs last cycle so we are both set for a BFP this time!
Thanks all. I know my pity party is totally unnecessary and for me to be so negative so early is just RIDICULOUS.. I was just in a mood after reading what my acupuncturist said. Forgive me.. please?
On to POSITIVE thoughts! This month is going to work because I am going to use Nugget Jo's hand me down and LUCKY OPKs that she was kind enough to send to me.

We have all felt pretty negative at one point so don't feel bad, just know that we understand and we are all rooting for each other.
It happens to all of us...don't worry, if you have trouble getting in the positive frame of mind, we will handle the positive thoughts on your behalf until you get there!

I was actually cheered by reading the comments in your post, so I appreciate your venting even though it means you were feeling bummed and down. Truly hoping you are feeling better now. My fingers are for certain crossed for your BFP for your BF40th!!!
