I just read that you live in Tioga County.   I used to live there!  I was the Curator at the Historical Society.  Lived on Front St. in Owego and spent many a night at the John Barleycorn. 

Didn't love it when I lived there but now I actually miss that sleepy little town!

    Very neat! We don't live in the village but in te town. I love the small town feel and yet miss the big city (San Diego) as well. The Barley Corn is stillage place in Owego. How long ago did you live here?

    I left Owego in 2002.  I lived there for a year.  I was in my mid-20's and there was no one my age left in the town so I hung out with people I met from Lockheed. 

    My DH lived in San Diego...yeah, I would say much different.  I arrived to Owego from D.C. so it was culture shock.  I used to be afraid to walk around town because it was so dark and quiet at night!
