Sitting here at my desk right now singing "I'd like a...cat!...please! It's my favorite animal. I'd like it to be...red!...Please! That's my favorite coooolor! I'd like it to eat...avocados...please! That's my favorite food....."

 LOL! Might be time to update the song list :)

    Time for... 5 minutes... of bedtime music... Carter!  

    And yes- that other one gets stuck in my head, too.

     

    The worst one right now for me, though, is from his Fisher Price Activity Table.  "Hello!  The phone is ringing so I say, Hello!  Hello!"

    we mimic the awkward pause all the time, and the inflection she uses to say "Alexis!" It makes her grin every time. So I guess if nothing else, that thing is probably teaching her her name!

    "I'm feeling...sleepy...aLEXis...will you give me a hug?"

    Oh I am sooooo glad I'm not the only one doing this...... I may have to modify hers because it seems she no longer likes penguins as much as when she was 2 months old and now prefers cats. =P

    Ours is Butterfly, Purple, & Carrots.

    But I always get all teary eyed with this song... Don't know why.

    We have Violet too.  DD loves it, but it cracks me up how it says her name like it's asking her a question, especially in the middle of a song.

    We love our Violet! ! Ours is Dog, Apples, Pink.  I like the personalized songs the best. And the "In the morning, I rise and shine..." afternoon and evening songs.

    So funny!! I started singing the friends song to my husband the other day and he joined in.  Sometimes it hits home, like when I was walking through the mall with baby poop on my jeans from a blowout, that we are definitely parents

    My husband and I walk around singing the songs from My Pal Violet and the activity table.  The "Hello" song is definitely the one that sticks the most! :)

    It's almost like they say their name as a question! Mason loves to eat Scout!
