Share your made up song lyrics!
Ok, now that I know I'm not the only one who has made up a burp song. Let's hear your special lyrics.
FYI - Our LO is nicknamed "seabiscuit" (long story) but now we just call her "the biscuit".
My burp song goes: "Burp little biscuit, burp for me. Burp little biscuit, please please please!" "Burp little biscuit, burp right now. Burp little biscuit, make me say 'WOW!" "Burp little biscuit, burp real loud. Burp little biscuit, make mommy PROUD!" "Burp little biscuit, burp burp burp. Burp little biscuit so it won't hurt."
DH (to the tune of "What do Tigers Dream of" from The Hangover): "What do biscuits dream of when they take a little biscuit snooze?" "Do they dream of having bottles, or taking great big giant poops?" "Don't you worry your little biscuit head, I'm going to put you back to sleep in your cozy biscuit bed, and then I'm going to find your favorite seahorse, light him up for you and give him back of course. But if his batteries have all run out... well then we're just out of luck."

We don't have a burp song, but we have 1 for poopies and farts. "make poopies and farts for (mommy/daddy/aunts/uncles/grandparents/the dog). We fill in a new name each verse.

Ha, my husband and I actually couldn't help ourselves. I can't decide wether it's creepy because of Nightmare on Elm Street or not, but I sing it anyway.

Your songs are really cute! I don't have any set lyrics but I sing about what's going on at the time - if she's cranky and needs to sleep or when I get desperate what's on tv or what I can see in the room.
She does have a 'theme' song. We switched the words to Little 'Liza Jane to be Lucy Jane and sing that to her. DD1's theme song is an old Bumblebee Tuna jingle. We just switch out bumblebee and Emily.
maybe we should get our kids together. we call DS "Loaf". it's like we planned it...Biscuit and Loaf. omg.
We have a song for bathtime, to the tune of "Frere Jacques." It goes:
Gavin's spa day, Gavin's spa day

Then he'll sleep, then he'll sleep!
And the other day, I was putting some Butt Paste on a spot where DS had diaper rash, and I started a Butt Paste song, to the tune of Jimmy Buffett's "Boat Drinks." It starts with, "Butt paste! / I don't know why you like butt paste / It's sticky and icky and white..." And I went on from there. I guess if he has enough diaper rash, I'll do all the verses.
Also, I have a shower song, for when DS is in the bouncer in the bathroom while I'm showering. I used to just say, "I'm still here, Gavin, don't worry!" from behind the curtain, but then I started making up new lyrics for the song "I'm Still Here," from the musical Follies (okay, probably no one knows this song but me, 'cause I have the music taste of a 60-year-old). It starts with, "You're in the bouncer and I'm in the shower, but don't worry, I'm still here!" And then I just throw in whatever lyrics I can think of.
I love singing to DS.
