If your LO has a lot of teeth

DS had 6 teeth, then last night one of the top fronts started poking in and this morning the second top front one is poking through (last night was a horrible night for sleeping needless to say). So he has 8 now- the front top four and bottom front four. If yours have a lot of teeth are you FINALLY getting some sort of break?? I know you can't psychically see into my baby's mouth/head, but I'm just looking for some hope. I think within a week 4 have popped through and it's been hard. I need sleep!

Re: If your LO has a lot of teeth

  • Nora has 8. Her 8th one came through on December 23rd. Lo-and-behold, she is drooling again and our pedi said her molars aren't far behind. :-O

But yeah, she's pretty content right now, and she doesn't seem to be in pain.

  • Olivia has 7 and one is a molar (still coming in), I believe the second molar is coming along because she is chewing/gumming on her finger again.  When they first break through she is cranky and doesn't sleep.  Once they come in she is her happy self.

  • I'm jealous!  LO got 2 teeth the day before and after Thanksgiving, along with a fever of 103 for 2 days and an ear infection.  She started acting like she was teething about a month ago (chewing on everything, drooling like mad, and waking up screaming randomly).  Well, we got the fever and ear infections again, but still no new teeth.

ETA - Hope you start getting some sleep soon!

  • Kass has 8 teeth in. The top front two are almost halfway in, while the other six are completely in. She hasn't teethed in over a month! It was awesome. Last week she started fussing more at night and not sleeping as well so I fear the next round of teething is coming. She even had a fever over the weekend. That was what started it all last time.
