Last night I went to Walgreen's and in a last-ditch attempt to find something that would help me sleep, I bought two wrist braces designed for PM use, (they're not showing the actual brand I bought online) and they actually worked!
That was the first night in a week that I haven't woken up with two painful, numb arms every hour. If you haven't tried this yet, grab a couple:)
Re: **Heddarc** (and anyone else with Carpal Tunnel)
I looked but there were so many kinds I wasn't sure what would work best. Let me know if you can remember the brand or what they looked like so I can get the right ones.
Thanks for the help!!
They're Walgreen's by Ace brand (no idea why these aren't on their website- tried to find it for you and it's not there), and they're called "Wrist sleep support for carpal tunnel syndrome". The box says "night" on the bottom right, and the braces themselves are dark blue.
I asked the pharmacist for help, and she recommended these ones for sleep, but said really any of them would work, as long as they stabilize the whole hand and wrist (as opposed to just wrist). The nice part about them is that they're soft and don't cut into my skin. GL!
