when did DC outgrow their toddler bed?

wishing now i would have just gotten a twin for DD. She is 3.5 and i'm guessing she wont be in her toddler bed for another 6-12 months. She is about average size for her age. So i'm just wondering about what age you switched to a bigger bed for DC.

    DD has a 6yo friend who is still in hers- it's one that converted from a crib to a toddler bed.  I don't know how she fits, but she does!  We just got DD a twin for Christmas because the convertible crib is going to have a new occupant in 9 weeks :)

    My DD is on the small side. We converted her crib to the toddler bed and she is 3 1/2 and still fits just fine. We are planning to move within the next year so I was hoping that she would fit until we moved and then we would convert to a full at that time.

    We haven't even transitioned to toddler beds yet (soon!) but to me it looks like they could easily get another year out of them. They didn't grow much in the past year though; they're only 36" and 36.5".

    Mine still could be in one.  We switched him so Cally could have his.  We plan on getting "big kid beds" for the twins 4th birthdays.  I think they will be fine until than (and probably still okay a little after).

    My DD will be 4 in April and still in her toddler bed. She is a shortie so she fits fine. Not sure when we will switch. Definitely by the time she turns 5.

    Mostly this.  Our house is on the market now and I was thinking of converting her bed to a full when we move...

    We moved up last week. We might have had a little more time in good ol Thomas the Train, but DS was getting too big to climb all over the bed and I didn't want him to break it and get hurt...

    My daughter went to a toddler before at 1 year and a twin at about 3 years old. My son on the other hand is a bit bigger so we moved him to a twin when he was around 1. 1/2.
