Soooo embarassing

I'm 6 months PP and can't really feel a good 4 inches on my belly surrounding my incision.  I'm still wearing sweat pants because jeans really irritate my incision if I wear them too often.  The other day I was talking to a friend, left her house and was walking home (she lives across the street).  I realized that my pants were below my incision and my 4 day unshaven bikini area was hanging out Embarrassed  Literally, this was the most embarassing moment of my life and I couldn't even FEEL that a good 2 inches of my stomach was blubbering about Sad

  • I haven't had a c-section, but I had major surgery on my stomch (over a foot long scar from pubic area to over the belly button) to remove more then a foot of intestine. I had the surgery in 2007, and the area and area around the scar are still numb. I know the surgery isn't the same, but I know the healing of the muscles and nerves and skin are probably similar. Sorry this isn't much help, but I figured I would share that I am STILL numb 5 years later.

    This made me laughSmile

I had the numbness in the area above my incision site (maybe an inch above it)  for months after the c section. I dont remember when the numbness exactly stopped but it was gone within a year. Good Luck!

Same here. At some point past 12 months pp, I suddenly had substantially less numbness. There is hope!

This story made me LOL because I could totally see it happening to me.
