Where did JT's naps go??????? I'm on day 3 of seemingly NO naps or a mere 30 minutes. Could it be the ear infection? Am I doomed to a life of no nap breaks?
What does sleep look like for you guys these days????
DS' night time sleeping has not changed. He goes down about 8 or 8:30 and usually wakes up around 6:30 or 7. He sometimes takes 2 naps a day (usually about 1.5 hours), but sometimes just one longer nap.
I would think with the ear infection he would be sleeping more, but maybe it is bothering him and interrupting his sleep?

She's trying to go from 2 naps to 1. She's been going down from like 11-1, and then she gets sooo sleeeeepy at 6-ish, but if I let her sleep then she takes an hour nap and stays up til midnight. It's mean but I've been keeping her awake until 7:30, and then she STTN.
Except now she's getting another tooth so she went down for first nap at 10. SIIIGH.
Sleep sucks for us right now. She went from 2 good naps a day to one tiny nap then at night she whines in her sleep which wakes her up and we are doing that every 2-3 hours. She has been sleeping through the night since she was 3 months old. I don't know why we are regressing on sleep.
It could be the ear infection, teething? or just a phase. When A dropped from 2 to 1 nap a day at 13 months I thought he was cutting them out altogether (he'd only sleep 30-45 minutes) but it only last a week or 2. After that he was only taking one nap but it lasted for 2-3.5 hours each day.
Em just cut down to 1 nap and it's about 2-2.5 hours right after lunch. Bedtime is unchanged 7:30pm to 7 or 8 am.

I really think it is the ear infection like the others have said. Joshua goes back and forth between 1 and 2 naps. Today it sounds like he is on track for 2 - he laid down at 10:30 and is still asleep almost 1.5 hours later.
Not to be discouraging but I gave up naps at the ripe old age of 2. Right after my middle brother was born I quit napping completely. I went to bed early but refused to nap. My parents sent me to a half-day kindergarten because of this. If they had told me to take a nap it would have been WWIII. By going half day they got around that.

We went abruptly from 4 naps to two long ones. I cant imagine no naps, I would go crazy!
My sister mentioned her 2 1/2 yr olds stopped with the naps already too. That seems crazy to me, but i hear that more and more.
