Just found out I am pregnant

So I think this September 2012 Mom forum can be a lot of fun and helpful. I am about 4.5 weeks pregnant and am due September 20th with my first baby. My husband and I have our first appt at 8 weeks, so on February 9th. Any advice on what to do until then? Besides feeling nauseas everyday I do not "feel" or obviously "look" pregnant. It is hard to know how to feel right now. Looking forward to talking to more of you on here. Please let me know if I can pray for you in anyway.

Married to my best friend and mom to Calvin, 18 months old. We are so excited to being having Baby #2 (due on our 4 year anniversary)

    Congrats and welcome!  I am also due 9/20.  Until your appt make sure you're taking your prenatal vitamins and drinking lots of water.  Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months!

    Thank you for responding. I started taking my prenatals 3 days ago. I have not drank much water because I was scared of peeing all day, but I will get on that now. Is this your first child? How are you feeling so far?

    Welcome!  Before you appointment drink plenty of water, eat healthy, take those vitamins, exercise at a pace similar to whatever you have been doing (or at least start walking), but otherwise sit back, relax, and try not to worry too much.

    Congratulations!  Best wishes for a happy and healthy 9 months!  As far as advice goes the only thing I can think to suggest is maybe pick up a pregnancy book.  I have the Mayo Clinic Guide to a Healthy Pregnancy and it is great to answer random questions you might have in the middle of the night and help let you know what to expect. As far as prayers go... thanks for the offer!  I'll take some for a happy healthy sticky baby..and I'll send some your way too!  :)

    TTC #1 since January 2010
    BFP 6/11/2011. Heartbeat seen on u/s 6/29. No heartbeat 7/13 at 9w0d. D&C 7/18.
