Energy please!!

I work a very low/no stress job. I really do sit on my behind most of day on the computer. Usually on bump or facebook. But last week and so far today have been rough. I am soooooo tired. I go to be super early, usually laying in bed with tv on by 9:00PM asleep by 11:00PM. I of course get up to pee at least twice a night, but fall right back to sleep. I don't even wake up until 7:00AM!! What is wrong with me I am on the verge of falling asleep at work, and already text DH to let him know I would be going straight to bed when I got home.

 

What can I do to get more energy!!

  • As opposite as it sounds, exercise has always been my cure to low energy. I was struggling to keep my eyes open on my hour long trip home from work every day until I starting increasing my activity level. I'm not even talking anything major here, just a minor sweat from a little more activity. I now schedule at least one grade level to perform some type of dancing/movement activity each week (I teach elementary music), and it forces me to spend at least 20 minutes or so of light to moderate dancing. Some days I'll have to perform the motions around 15 different times to a 3 minute song. It's nothing major, but I haven't been fighting to keep my eyes open while driving any more.
