How did the week/weekend go? How's everyone holding up past the "2-weeks-into-2012" mark?

Also- anyone have any good healthy dinners they've discovered lately I'm getting into a rut...

  • As of the gym scale ( I do not have a digital scale), I had lost 6 lbs as of last Friday.  Tonight, if I make it to the gym, will be the end of Week 4 of C25K...I am loving this program.

    I have only cheated twice on the No Junk Food Challenge, at least I can admit it :).  Nachos on DH's birthday and a small piece of a Wegman's cookie on Saturday.

    I have been really liking stir fry lately.  I also like to put Frank's red hot on brown rice...tastes great and I eat less of it :)

  • I kept up on my promises to myself; I've been eating healthy, working out 5 days a week and only have 1 diet soda a day. I've also switched from those delicious holiday flavored creamers back to FF half and half with splenda.

    So far I'm down 6lbs! I bought a few new DVDs to work out to and I'm loving the boot camp class I'm taking. Zumba starts this Wednesday so we'll see how that goes.

    I bought a scandalous bathing suit that I'm pretty sure is going to get shipped back (it's a one piece but still shows a lot and it's not the one I posted before )but I'm working out extra hard til it gets here.

  • I've lost 3lbs. so far.  I'm pretty happy with that considering I've had a few cheats and haven't started exercising yet.  I need to get on my ILs treadmill soon!

    MrsWhite, in the weekly menu post, the pork that I made last night was very good!  Lawells15 also told me that the chicken recipe I'm making tonight is good, too.  I think we'll be giving Skinnytaste.com a lot of traffic!

  • I've been sick Sad  First the stomach flu then strep so I've been down for the count. No appetite or energy and it's been pretty crappy.

    I'm just getting my appetite back and I am loving soups right now. I make a huge batch and save them for the week! Chicken noodle last week and this week I'm not sure. But we are definitely soup people.

  • I think I lost a couple but my scale needs a new battery! Gah!! I hope to add exercise in this week...
  • I lost 2lbs.  Not too shabby for being a bloated mess & not working out (unless you count the 3 times I had to shovel the driveway this past weekend).  I NEED to get the motivation to start actually working out, and I need my back to stop killing me so I can actually lay on the floor and do sit-ups! 

    I'm miserable & want nothing more than to eat something disgustingly delicious, but I have nothing "good" in my house!  Dieting this week of the month is the WORST!!! 

     

  • I lost 2.2 lbs this week - much better than I thought I would. I made a conscious effort to not nibble every chance I could, and was really good about bringing good breakfasts and lunches to work so that I stayed satisfied. Only ran once, and it was awful. I think I'm losing some of my fitness because I haven't been able to get out as much over the last few weeks. Need to find a solution to that. 

    Planning on looking at the other gym today. The idea of an indoor track has really been appealing to me lately. DH told me he'd rather not join, because he wants to concentrate on getting outside to exercise. At least if he doesn't exercise, we won't be wasting any money. 

  • I did okay, and lost 1 lb. I start the day off super healthy w/ breakfast, I'm good all day at work (pack my lunch, snack on fruit/veggies, lots of water etc) and then I get home so late we end up ordering takeout, doing something quick like pasta w/ jarred sauce or even frozen pizza. I was planning on fixing that this week by planning out and prepping some quick dinners for the week, but Evan is sick so I'm not going shopping. I need to come up w/ a plan of things I can grab after work w/ little prep that are quick and healthy!

    I didn't work out at all last week. Again, I was planning on taking Evan to the gym w/ me today to start off the week right. Maybe I'll go tonight when DH gets home? I should do something while E naps later...  

  • I'm down 6 pounds.  I've been pretty strict with my eating (Saturday being the exception - stuck at work with pizza!) and have been continuing the 30 DS.  My DH is doing it with me too which has helped because on days that I want to be lazy, he's ready to work out.  Even Claire is starting to "work-out" with us and uses basil and garlic salt as her weights - so funny!
