What do you think LO will look like?

So I'm excited to meet my little girl and finally get to see her face. I understand a lot of traits won't be noticeable yet, like hair and eye color can change in the coming months. However, DH and I have very different looks.

So I was wondering, what are you curious about how your child is going to look like? Or for those whom have had their babies, were you surprised by any of their traits?

The thing I'm most curious about is her eyes, not the color, but the shape/size. My eyes are super small and squinty, like my dad's. DH always says my eyes disappear when I smile. However, DH is part Lebanese and him and his family all have large, deep set Middle-Eastern eyes. So I'm curious to see if she's more like me or him in that aspect. When DH's sister was pregnant the u/s tech told her her son was going to have big eyes. It's that obvious.

Also curious about later eye color, I have blue eyes (even though neither of my parents do) and DH's are dark brown (though there are some blue eyes in his mom's family-non-lebanese side). But I know we'll have to see if her eyes change.

We had a 3d and she looked very similar to my baby pics, but that was over 10 weeks ago so it may have changed. I'm interested to see what color her hair and eyes are (hubby is blond with light eyes, I'm a brunette with brown eyes).

You'll have to let us know when your LO comes out! I think Middle-Eastern traits tend to be very dominant, much like Asian traits. Kind of like Kate Plus 8, all of those kids look very Asian, but obviously that's just from one parent. Part of me thinks the big eyes are very pretty (Kim Kardashian like, even if you don't like her personally, her eyes are gorgeous), but part of me wants her to resemble myself. I also take after my Polish/eastern european side, blonde hair (at least until high school) and blue eyes.

Im wondering who is she gonna look like, I already have 2 boys and I can tell pretty much how the next one, if it was a boy was gonna look like, but a girl is totally different. I have no idea because this is my first one! Im really anxious.

I think with ours, he will look very much like both of us because people seem to think that we are brother and sister even though we don't share any of the same nationalities. I'm Greek and Polish, and DH is Irish, Scottish, and Welsh. However, we both have really dark hair and brown eyes. The only major difference is that DH is really tall, and I'm really short. I have a feeling that any kids we have will at least be taller than me. If we wind up with a blond baby, no one will believe that it's either of ours.

If I could pick her features it would be my nose and cheekbones and DH's eyes (both shape and color) and smile. We did get a 3D picture done and she totally had his lips. I loved it

Everything else is still up in their air though!

My DH is sure our LO is going to be red headed because 8 out of my 11 nieces and nephews are. I think his darker features will win out but we are both getting anxious waiting to find out!

When DS2 was born I always imagined he would look just like DS1 since that was all I could picture. He looked SO different, in fact that was the very first thing I said to him ("You don't look anything like your brother!"). It actually took me several weeks to wrap my head around it because I was so thrown. Of course this time I keep picturing DS1 again. Then I think, What if he doesn't look like either of them?? I can't imagine what a baby of ours would look like if not just like one of the other boys!

I'm anxious to see who she looks like because she doesn't cooperate during u/s. She either turns her face away when the tech tries to take her pic or she simply faces my spine. It's been so frustrating.

We both hope she looks like me. Hubby has a very strong forehead, chin and nose that he got from his mom's side of the family (his brother and mom both have it as well). Lets just say that his mom, while a very nice person, isn't the prettiest woman in the world.

I'm fairly sure she'll have dark eyes since mine are dark brown and Hubby's are hazel. I'm not sure what type of hair she has but I hope it's texture is more fine like mine rather than coarse like his. I have cute (somewhat chubby) cheeks and I'm pretty sure she'll get those as well. I'd like her to have my lips as hubby's are really thin.

Overall, she can look like anyone as long as she gets here safely and grows up healthy and happy.

Sometimes I stare at my baby and I can't believe she is mine because she looks so ethnic! She is so dark skinned, and she has such thick black hair and big eyebrows. She looks 100% Latino. My husband is Spanish and Portugese and I am a brunette white girl, mostly British.

My husband's genes definitely dominated. I think she may have my eye shape, but she also has his huge brown eyes that are so dark you can barely see the pupil. I love it!! I keep calling her my brown baby. My older daughter with a different dad was so pale and blonde hair and blue eyes, so this one is the polar opposite.

I am super curious! I had a dream that she had DH's dark brown hair. I'm pasty white and DH is full blooded Native American so I'm praying she gets his complexion.

Based on our 3D and 29 weeks, I know that Rhys has DH's forehead, lips, and chin. He seems to have my chipmunk cheeks and my nose.

I am most curious about whose ears he has and whose eyes. DH has a beautiful pair of baby blues and I am hoping Rhys gets those.
