Last Tuesday I went in to have something checked out and the NP let me see the baby. Everything looked good, but the u/s said I was 6 days further than what I thought. I was surprised that this was the case since I had charted my cycle and was pretty sure on the dates. I had a pretty clear temp spike and EWCM, spotting on 7,8, and 9 DPO, followed by a BFP on 10 DPO. I have heard of this happening to people who were unsure of their O dates, but have any fellow charters experianced this or did your dates match up?

I was measuring 1 day further along then what I calculated from my O date. But the Dr. made a point of saying anything in the +- range of 5 days is normal. So I would think one more day is the same. It's an approximation, not exact. Nothing is. :-D

With DD I always measured like 2-3 days ahead of my actual O date.

With DS I measured 4-5 days behind until around 12 weeks. Then I started measuring at least a week ahead for the rest of the pregnancy.

This time I have measured 1-2 days behind my actual O date.

I think it varies greatly, as each baby develops at a different rate just as Hcg levels have such large ranges. And implantation dates can also vary. For example if you had spotting on 7-9DPO, then implantation could have happened as early as 5-6DPO. As long as your dates aren't behind by more than a week, I'd say you're LO is doing just fine Smile Measuring ahead tends to be a good thing!

I measured 1 day behind and I knew exactly when I O'ed.

Maybe your baby just implanted earlier than usual? Like 6 or 7dpo?

If you got a BFP at 10 dpo, then it maybe implanted early? I think that could put you a few days ahead of someone who ovulated the same day but implanted late. The can also be off by 4-5 days.

This LO measured 1 day behind. My OB also went by my lmp which ended up being the same (I O on CD 14/15). Everything was very close though.

I'll let you know on Thursday. I o'd early the cycle I got my BFP (9dpo). I haven't been to the doctor yet to have an ultrasound, but my appt is this Thursday. I will be interested to see where the ultrasound puts me.

I have been consistently measuring three days ahead. I think I implanted quickly because I got a bfp at 8 dpo and a temp drop at 5dpo . I keep waiting for it to fall back to the weeks/days I think I am, but I have had three ultrasounds (previous loss) and it is keeping up with 3 days ahead.

FF had said my edd was August 14 based on when I Oed on November 22. But after having 3 ultrasounds, baby was measuring ahead by one day and my edd is August 13. I think as long as it is within a week and if baby is measuring ahead it is okay.

I know when I o'd based on opks, bbt shift, cm, my awesome ferning scope, and a progesterone blood check. My first ultrasound measured three days ahead.

On my u/s it says the estimated gestational age, 9w6d +/- 5 days. Also just like not all babies are the same size when they come out your growing baby may be a little ahead or behind the average they go off of.

I was measuring 5 days ahead. The doc asked if I wanted to move my due date. I said it didn't matter and deferred to him, but I plan to renege that statement at the 12 week. If I know when I Oed, why shouldn't I stick with the original EDD?
