Tylenol PM?

My doctor called back to answer some questions about my pelvic pressure I've been having. I mentioned that it seems more so at night than during the day. She said that if I'm having trouble sleeping that I can take Tylenol PM.

Is that safe to take during pregnancy??

Re: Tylenol PM?

  • Yes, I took it once in awhile with my first pregnancy

    I did lots of looking...

My first doctor told me it was ok and this one told me not to take it...

I would try 1 tylenol pm and 1 regular tylenol first to see if that helps... if it was me

  • my doctor said the same thing. fine to take Tylenol and PM.

  • Yes my OB said Tylenol PM is fine as well. Beware, it may knock you out though lol

I took it for a headache last week before bed and I slept like a log (not exactly a bad thing though!)

I think my body is just so not used to using meds like that in months that it knocked me out.

  • Tylenol PM is 500 mg Tylenol and 25mg Benadryl.

You can save money by just buying generic benadryl and using that when you need it.

This.  Both meds are pregnancy safe so the combo is fine.
