4cm...70%effaced...going out of my mind!

Hi all -

FTM - 39 and a half weeks along.  As of Tuesday I was 4cm dilated and 50% effaced.  My doctor told me last week she didn't expect to see me for my next appointment because she was pretty sure our baby would arrive before then.  

 

Well - tomorrow is my appointment.  So far, my mucus plug has come out and I have had very subtle erratic  contractions.

 Anyone else going through this, or has gone through something similar??

    pretty similiar to mine  as of my last appt. i was 3-4 cm and 90% effaced...before that for like 3 weeks i was 3 cm and 70% effaced.  he thought i would have my baby at new years...well i am now overdue lol.  my appt is also tomorrow so i may be induced depending on what he says.  im hoping he wont have to give me meds and he can just break my water cause i am already dialated some.  good luck!

    Is that progress from your previous appt? That is what I have been keeping track of more than my current dilation and thinning.

    But I am not that far along as of last Wednesday :)

    I could have written your post myself. Exactly what I'm going through to a t. I'm hoping she'll sweep my membranes tomorrow to get things going. I've been walking tons, but it doesn't seem to be making a difference ;)
