The Today Show interviewed a family that was on the cruise ship that sank in the Mediterranean. The mom mentioned that she was freaking out because she can't swim. I thought to myself, "why would you go on a vacation in the middle of a giant body of water if you can't swim?".
We are buying a new car this spring. My husbands wants a van (Honda Odessy). I was an SUV. We've never car shopped together. I'm wondering who will get the car of our dreams, lol.
Last night I went to check my facebook account. I noticed that I had several new messages- I went to check them and discovered a surprise birthday party my DH is planning for me...Yikes! DH was still logged into his fb acct and I didn't realize it!
I'm excited about the party but totally bummed that I found out about it:(

Okay I work in a dr office and let me tell you that there are some dumb people in this world. I swear I dont know how they make it day to day without help.
I used to have a co-worker like that. Some of my favorite quotes from her...
Is Canada domestic or international? (I worked in a bank and she was trying to figure out a wire transfer to Canada. Apparently, she didn't know Canada was a completely different country.)
How many months are in 5 weeks?
The list goes on and on, but I can't remember any more at the moment. The only reason she was hired at the bank was because she knew the manager.

I have been told many times that I should be a hand model. I guess my hands are pretty and I should show them off! The only problem? I don't take very good care of my nails. They are usually non-painted, broken off or chewed down.

When I was little, we used to do lemonade stands and mini yard sales. Why don't kids do this cute stuff anymore? It was a blast!
Working today. I got my W-2, but I still need my W-2 from the temp agency and unemployment before I can really start on my taxes, Boo.

I am REALLY hoping to get my tattoo this week. Waiting on my friend to draw it up. He is giving me a discount (seriously, like half off) so I don't want to complain too much.
i am off today with pay and loving it...DD # 1 has no school, and DD # 2 has no daycare as its closed
Re: going on a cruise and not knowing how to swim...my mother has been on about 30 cruises and she doesnt know how to swim. Guess you just never think something bad will happen...btw that story is horrible about the cruise ship.
A funny visual...when my mother comes over our house to go in the pool (in the shallow end due to her lack of knowing how to swim) she literally grabs 10 noodles and places them under her arms for fear that she might drown....

I am working today. No rest for the weary...probably a good thing though, I have been working non-stop lately. Busy, busy, busy.
Joke: My dd has been telling this joke for days, she read it in Diary of a Wimpy Kid and now thinks it is the funniest thing ever. "Doctor, can I have a new butt, mine has a crack in it!" Over and over and over and over and over. Keep in mind, this is her excuse to say "butt" we do not use that at our house, but because she read it in the book, she hasn't been in trouble for it. Oh the reading age...
On another note, I am sad today. The posts about those poor babies and mothers. I just want to go home and squeeze my babies. I am so blessed to have 2 healthy happy kids. I just have no words that can describe how sorry I am for those two moms...

One of my closest friends is pregnant and due on my due date, Aug 2, 1 year later. My brother and SIL are trying. I am excited for babies all around. As long as its not me, we're good to go lol!
Going on a tangent here... DD1 was born on the same day as my co-worker's DD, one year later. We actually had the same due date, too. It's fun to watch her DD and think "So, this is what it'll be like a year from now"
Gah I know! It takes FOREVER! I *try* to work on my albums here and there so I don't end up rushing to finish them in order to take advantage of some coupon, but I can't say I've had much success...
Aw, that's fun! And I agree with your last sentence... I'd love another baby, but not quite yet! Haha.
I got one too! Trying to find some time to use it. I think I may just order a bunch of prints for DD's photo album.
