I want to do SOMETHING for Courtney. I was thinking about sending her a memorial tree to plant in honor of Tripp? They have one online that is amazing. When it "blooms" it is bright red and fluffy. Reminds me of ?Elmo?. I know that nothing can replace Tripp, or make her feel better, but I feel like I should try.
What do you ladies think?
ETA: Because I wasnt done....MissNikki brought up space for a tree being an issue too. I thought that her mom stayed with her to help take care of Tripp, she thought she lived with her mom. Anyone know?
Is this idea crazy? LMK.

This. And I think it's a beautiful tree and a lovely idea. It will be a visual for her every day of her son.
If she lives with her mom and her mom plans to stay there it is a great idea. Or sometimes the cemetery will allow you to plan a tree close to your loved one.
I know my sister received a tree when her husband passed and had a really hard time deciding what to do with it. Her and her husband had an apartment and my parents had their house on the market... so she wanted the tree to be somewhere where she could visit and watch it grow. Also, sometimes local parks will plant it with a nice plaque so she has a special little place to visit his tree.
The red tree is gorgeous though... and definitely makes me think of Elmo.
I think this is a lovely idea and what a nice tree! It will remind Courtney every day of her beautiful boy and his bestie Elmo.
I love this idea.

This is perfect.
In some towns, you can plant one in a public park on Arbor Day, so even if space is an issue, they may still be able to do something like that. I think that would be wonderful, knowing that other children would be playing under Tripp's Tree.
