I actually bought one myself but I'm a FTM so no clue how it will work. I've seen ladies out using them though, and both mom and baby seem really comfortable!
I used one...it took quite a bit of practice to tie it properly but the baby was so snug and comfy once I got it right, and I was able to get so much more done. Try searching videos on how to properly wrap a Moby on Youtube, I found that helped.
I never used it with my first (I'm due on her 3rd birthday) because it's so freaking hot and humid here in the spring/summer, and walking around with both of us wrapped in 3 yards of fabric was a non-starter.
I tried it with my second, but I only used it once or twice. I liked the front pack much better. It's much easier to put on and lets both of us get more air.
It's not my thing, but I know people who love it...
I used it with my 3rd when he was still a little newborn and lacked head control. It is pretty bulky and takes some effort to put on, so I didn't use it often. Plus, my last 2 babies were born at the beginning of the hot season, so it wasn't terribly reasonable for wearing out at the playground. I found it helpful when trying to cook dinner or when the baby was just super fussy and wanted to be held and walked around for a nap. I did like how it smushed the baby up tight against you and felt that it supported my bad back well. Then I could easily tuck the baby's head in it when he fell asleep. I tend not to carry mine around too much though because of my back problems and the fact that I am always up and down from the floor with my others. I got this one for pretty cheap on craigslist though, so didn't feel like I was wasting my money.

Oh yeah, and the little newborn babies LOVE to be snuggled up against your chest like that. Calms them right down to hear your heartbeat, and it is such a great feeling to be able to cuddle up with your baby lilke that:)

I'm a FTM and will probably get a Boba sleepy wrap, which is similar. I've watched some you tube videos and they help some. I would definitely suggest that.

I'm a FTM and have never used one, but some friends with infants have and said they loved it. I registered for one and definitely want to give it a try.
I never used a carrier with my ds, but we used it all.the.time. with dd. It was a lifesaver. Loved my Moby. It was SO comfy I could wear her all day and it wouldn't hurt my shoulders or back. It takes some practice to wrap the Moby, but once you get the hang of it, it's not a big deal at all. The only issue is that it can be HOT with all of that fabric. I still plan on using mine with the new baby though.

I used it when DD was really teeny. But I quickly switched to a SSC (Beco Gemini) because it was just easier to put her in it when I was out. Do these photos work? They are from FB so I'm not sure.
I did and LOVED it w/DS. I never had anyone show me...I went on youtube watched a video and it took me seconds to get it on and place DS in it (for the various positions...he mostly loved facing in, when he was little and facing out when he was older) It is not hard or scary at all...it was super comfy and baby LOVED it! I live in FL where it is hot and never had an issue w/LO or myself sweating. I personally would stay in if it was SUPER hot...I would not go to the park if it is 90 degrees and humid...would do indoor activities. In the house I wore it all the time or to the store etc.
My best friend is giving me hers. She never liked it. She said it's too much fabric and was a pain for her to wrap. Despite all that, I am excited to give it a try. Other moms I have talked to loved their moby's. I'm hoping I can easily get the hang of wrapping it. I registered for a baby bjorn though too. That way, I'll have both and we'll see which one the baby and I prefer.
I have a Lovey Duds wrap from Etsy that is basically the same thing. I wore DD in it for probably 6 hours a day! She had bad reflux and could only sleep sitting up, so it was a life saver. She was very snug and secure in there. It was a little intimidating to wrap at first, but I got the hang of it quickly and could put it on anywhere. I'm really looking forward to using it again! Oh, and there are lots of videos online that show how to properly wrap it. Mine came with a DVD to show all the different types of wraps you could do and it really helped me figure out how to do it properly.

I am planning to use one and have heard lots if great reviews both on the interwebz and IRL. Watching some YouTube videos of how to use it made it less intimidating than just reading the instructions. Now I am just waiting for a good price on one and will purchase it.

If you are handy with a sewing machine, here's a tutorial on how to make one...looks pretty simple. I'm either making a new one or replacing the fabric panel on the one I have for a new look. If you can get the jersey on sale or with a coupon it would be a lot less than buying one!
I used it when he was very little during the day when he wanted to be held a lot and I needed to get some stuff done. I never mastered nursing while he was in it, though. I do love the concept of baby wearing. I have an Ergo, too (which was SO comfortable when he was older -- but I don't think I could put it on myself, which is a bummer -- I need to practice).
I loved mine. I leant it out to someone and she can't find it and hasnt' offered to replace it which royally annoys me. Its hard to practice with your bump in the way but is doable. Watch the you tube videos. My biggest tip is to tie it pretty snug because its stretchya nd has lots of lag. I woudl tie it at home, and drive with it on (baby in seat OBVIOUSLY) and then when we got to the store just pop the baby in.

I love it! As the get bigger it sags a bit from the weight, when she was around 4 months I switched to something with less give, but of all my carriers it was the best for calming her down almost immediately once put it. It very much mimics the tightness of the womb for them right up against your heartbeat. Once you wrap it a few times it becomes 2nd nature. DD enjoys hers as well:
It took me awhile the first time to get the hang of it, watching videos helped the first couple times while I was actively doing it myself. I loved loved loved it last time and look foreword to using it again this time. I would even put it on before leaving the house then slip DS in it while we were out and about, easier than trying to tie it in a parking lot. Also using a mirror helps when putting it on.
I'm using a baby K'tan breeze instead of the moby. The moby is too much fabric for the Oklahoma heat. I also plan on using a linen ring sling, too. Then we will move up to a more structured carrier as baby gets bigger.

Practice with a teddy bear.
It helps.
