arms reach co-sleeper ?

If you have an arms-reach co-sleeper how long do you think LO can use it? My baby just started rolling over this past week. the warning say not to use when the baby can climb out, so I'm wondering how much longer I have? I love having her right next to me at night but I don't think our bed is big enough for all 3 of us.

I don't want her to outgrow it =(

Re: arms reach co-sleeper ?

  • I was lucky enough to borrow one for my youngest baby a couple years ago... I LOVED it so much, and we used it until he was about 5 months old, maybe 6 months. I remember he was rolling over well, and was probably close to sitting up on his own. But he transitioned in to the crib part time/ bed w/ me part time very easilly. I kept the co sleeper attached to my bed for the times he slept with me, "just in case" he rolled off the bed... which never happened anyway ;)

  • DD slept in our Co Sleeper in our bedroom until around 4 and a half months, then we moved her into her crib in her own room. She was rolling back to front but not front to back when we moved her. I would have felt comfortable leaving her in there until she was using rolling as a means of "transportation" -- or until she could get herself into a sitting position on her own -- so maybe 6 months or so. We have the original, which converts to a regular pack and play, so we still use it for DD to sleep in on trips.
