I have a friend on Facebook who, since January 10th, has made 15 status updates referring to her 9 month old son's teething. Yes, I counted them. Seriously....15 updates about cutting teeth?
Totally hear you...some people just post WAY too much on there!!! That is just ridiculous...goes along with some of my friends who post that they are going to the gym, back from the gym, going to get nails done, back from getting nails done, going to make dinner, fed kid #1, fed, kid #2, watching tv, going to the bathroom, back from the bathroom...I mean c'mon!! LMAO
Best was a friend who has twice in the past few months posted about having a UTI...Um, I REALLY didn't need to know the specifics!!
I just scanned back through my FB posts, my son has 12 teeth and I have 1 post about teeth. It's not even complaining, just a "he's getting big so fast comment." You're not doomed. :-)
Lol! I've made multiple teething comments/statuses on mine, but not that many and not in that short of a time.
Nursed without dairy, egg, soy, peanut, treenut, fish, shellfish or beef for over a year.
Currently tandem nursing dairy, egg, and shellfish free.
DS born via emergency c/s after 20 hrs of labor. DD successful VBAC!
I've blocked the people who do that regularly from showing up in my news feed. Seriously, I don't care to know that your kids are fighting again or that so and so just took his own shirt off!

This. I had to do that to my DH's SIL because they have two kids: a little boy who's almost 3 and a little girl who is almost 6 months old. When I saw 5 pictures within 15 minutes of her daughter in a different outfit in each, I blocked her. I didn't "unfriend" her because she would have noticed, but I just blocked her and the pictures from my news feed. My H even gets annoyed by it and I'm thinking I'm going to have to do the same to his sister who has an almost 2 month old and keeps doing the same thing as the SIL.
Our little Red Raider is here and another is on its way!
My SIL is 36 weeks pregnant. When she got out of her drs appointment last week she posted "4 more weeks to go, im dilated to a 1 and zachary is in the head down position!" i about died!

I have a few FB friends who constantly talking about breastfeeding. I mean, breastfeeding is great, but do we need to hear about it every second? One FB friend kept posting about her clogged milk duct & how long she had to nurse & pump for it to go away. Really?
90% of my posts are related to my kids, but I only post once a week at most, so it is pretty tolerable I imagine. I haven't even mentioned that I am pregnant either, I might do so someday.

I have someone on my friend list right now who has been posting daily how many more days she has until her due date. I could care less. It's been posted every day since around 20 or 25 days left. "17 more days until I meet our newest little princess!" I really need to take her out of my newsfeed. An update once in awhile is ok but if you are posting the same thing every day no one cares anymore.
I'd rather read comments about teething than potty training.
I've already told my friends to let me know if I become "that mom." As it is, I'm trying to keep 90% of my baby stuff to my blog, and have told my FB friends they can find the info there. Not everyone that I know gets to have the kids they want (either life timing or infertility issues) and I feel like every post about my baby is stabbing them in the heart. Dramatic, maybe, but I've always wanted kids and a few years ago, I would CRY when I saw pregnancy announcements because I wanted that to be me so badly.

God help me if I'm ever that lame.
I have a friend on FB who since Jan 2nd has posted 39 updates about her 2 month old son's smile.
I already told all my friends they have permission to de-friend me or call me out if I am ever that lame too!
Re: Seriously! Shut up already! (Facebook rant)

My favourite I've seen so far was about potty training.
"My big girl went poopoo in the potty! I'm so proud of her! I think someone's getting an icecream!"
Ugh. I was unimpressed.
