Long time, no post...

Hey there...

Its been a while since I've posted. So neat to see how everyone's little ones have grown!  Been a rough winter for us... talk about sick babies...Daniel has been hospitalized 3 times! Last time I posted in November.. it was just after that first week in hospital with RSV/pneumonia/bronchiolitis.. the following week he ended up coughing so much that he pushed out his hernia (we knew he had it from birth) and it was incarcerated.. was back in hospital and avoided emergency surgery...because they "reduced" it.. pushed his intestines back through the hole in his abdomen wall. CRAZY.  He was then hospitalized AGAIN with bronchiolitis in December.  He is waiting for surgery (Feb 29th) to fix his double hernias.. but has to wait for his lungs to heal fully... he also has a floppy trachea and acid reflux which complicate things for anesthesia for surgery.  Soooooo... needless to say this (almost) 41 yr old mama has aged over the last few months.. oh.. and he has low muscle tone...is floppy and still doesn't hold his head up or push up while on his tummy...head lags when pulled up to sitting.. etc..  So, he's being evaluated on Weds by a neurologist and I've contacted early intervention services for an evaluation as well. I'm really.. really hoping that it just because he has been so sick that it has delayed his developement.  He was healthy last week (has a cold again now).. and seemed to feel "stronger". Please.. please keep Daniel in  your prayers. 

As for my little Bernadette.. she is thriving and even more fun than ever... little miss chatterbox is speaking full sentences and LOVES her little brother...nurturing and sweet.  She amazes me daily with how much she knows..

Anybody hear from Peppernut?  How is she doing?

    Gosh, I'm so sorry to hear about what a rough time DS is having. FX he's on the mend soon.

    Peppernut hasn't posted here in forever, I think. She and both her sweet girls are doing really well though.

    Hi, glad to hear from you! I am sorry you've had such a rough time.Your DD must be charging your batteries, it is nice to hear she is growing well. I hope Daniel gets there soon, too. You and Daniel will be in my thoughts. Keep us posted.

    Hi there, sorry to hear about your little boy, I hope he gets better soon. I haven't been posting much here either. I'm just really busy with part-time work and taking care of a rowdy 2 yr-old, a house and a husband (yes, he's like my second child, lol!)

    I hope we can all stay in touch Smile

    Me: 44 DH: 42. DS born healthy at 40 weeks 8/24/09. TTC since then with no luck or ART. Surprise BFP 8/6/14... MMC @ 8 weeks 4 days... Miss you everyday sweet baby angel.
