tax time - recommend your cpa

Trying to get a head start on taxes this year.  I used to do my own, but they are getting more complicated.  Anyone think their cpa/accountant is absolutely great and would like to recommend them?  I'm not looking to have places like Jackson Hewitt, H & R Block, or the like do them.  Also, not a computer program.  North of the river would be great, but if they're really great, I will go south of the river.  Thanks.

    a few years ago we used  c  a  r  l  a     w  o  r  k   for our personal ones.

    We now do our own personal and biz ones are done by our pro cpa (someone who specializes in entertainment stuff and is in CA).

     We used them, too basedon MrsRosie's rec and we were very happy with them.  Our taxes are pretty straightforward so I used to do them using TurboTax but his results were so much better than what I was coming up with.  They're very nice, too.

    I used him too, based on Mrs. Rosie's recc.

    I did it on turbo tax and choked when I saw what we owed.  I thought SURELY that couldn't be right - so I took it to him.  He came up with the exact same number.  So I guess turbo tax was correct.  However, he was very nice and was very good with communication and we were happy that we had him check just in case.  This year, I'm going to go with turbo tax (for $ reasons)... but if I can't figure it out myself - we will return to him.   

    I hope Mrs. Rosie got some kind of referral credit last year!
