Finn?

So we have a girl name all lined up but I really think we're having a boy. We'll find out for sure next week, but the name discussion has really been heating up lately! We disagree on all boy names, basically. Recently my DH has become in love with the name Finn.

What do you all think? We have a 3 syllable last name that starts with S. I guess I've just never known anyone named Finn and have a hard time picturing it.

    I like Finn.

    My first thought is the character from Glee.

    I don't know anyone named Finn, but I think it has become more popular lately because of, as pp said, the tv show Glee. I think it is a nice and strong name.

    I actually like Finn as a MN and as a FN.  I personally like Finn Daniel, Finn Joseph, Finn Michael or all these but flipped to make Finn the MN.

    I really like the name Finn!  I've met two Finns.  The first was in County Cork, Ireland.  It was at a pub and he was tanked and kept buying us drinks :)  The other is a 3 year old, he's a real cutie.  :)

    My son's name is Finnegan and we call him Finn for short. So, obviously, I'm a fan.

    I love it. If you last name didn't end with the same "inn" sound, we would have totally used it.

    DS is Fynn Matthew, I have always loved the name and I'm very glad DH liked it too.

    BFP #3: 12/19/13 (4 w1d) EDD 8/27/14 - 1/1/14 discovered it was ectopic/ tube had burst/ had surgery to remove tube (@ 6 weeks)
    BFP #4: 9/10/14 (3w6d) EDD 5/21/15 - natural MC 9/23/14 @ 5w5d
    BFP #5: 11/23/14 (3w3d) EDD 8/4/15 - Please be our Rainbow!

    I've never care for this name. It makes me think of fish, and it feels unfinished to me.

    My coworker had a baby recently and named him Finnegan (im not sure if I spelled it right) but they call him Finn.  And he's never seen the show.
    He was going to name the kid Link...so I'm glad he chose Finnegan lol it has more character.
    If you knew better, you'd do better.
